This culturally unique American heirloom strain comes from the Colville Indian Reservation in Inchelium, Washington. Its original source is unknown - Inchelium Red may be the oldest garlic strain grown in the Americas. Generally Sweet and Mild compared to other varieties, this softneck garlic exhibits award-winning flavor both raw and roasted. Inchelium Red garlic has astounding storability, keeping firm and robust well into the winter months. Inchelium Red garlic is highly productive and will adapt to both cold and mild growing conditions.
